PETIT VERDOT (2) missed out last time when fourth over 1m at Scottsville after filling a minor placing in two races on end, the latest here over 1m. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Expecting a bold showing. JOLLIFICATION (9) was when resuming from a lay-off last start and saluted by 2.25 lengths at this track over 1m1 1/2f. Has a very good record here including three wins from six starts. Well placed and should be in the finish. ICE SUNSATION (6) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 7½f at Scottsville. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. . And looks close to a win after finishing a close third last time out over 1m at scottsville. Has a high cruising speed. Deserves respect on best figures.
