NOCTILUCENT (1) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when in the firing line on the corner, finishing a nose from the winner in second at the end of 1m1/4f at Beaudesert. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. KING'S WARRIOR (2) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Has upside and can open his account. NEVIIM (3) is yet to break through in five runs. Finished fifth at his last appearance over 1m at Wyong on November 23. Worth including in this suitable contest. CARACORON (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at this track but raced below expectations last time over 7f at this track, finishing tenth and beaten 4.5 lengths. Well placed and should be thereabouts.
