HIGH AND MARTY (4) settled towards the tail when resuming last start then wound up strongly to finish 0.9 lengths away in second over 5f at Tamworth. Look for another barnstorming finish. HERE'S MASON (16) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5f190yards at this track, beaten one length. Finds a tougher race but another big run is on the cards. STAVRITZEL (5) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 3 lengths away in second over 6f at Murwillumbah. Tricky draw to overcome but does have good gate speed. Finds the right race this time and can take this out. DESERT COUGAR (9) has started twice, running a good third on debut then finishing fifth, beaten 9 lengths, last time over 6f at Murwillumbah. Plenty of scope for improvement.
