CANDI LASS (4) settled back but wound up late to finish fourth when resuming last start over 6f at Moruya. Will certainly pay to follow. STROMNESS (8) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of six months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 6f at this track. Tuned up with a fourth in a recent trial at Moruya. Bold showing expected. BOUND TO FIRE (1) returned last time with a solid third at Nowra over 5½f after being in the firing line on the turn. Placed to advantage and can take this out. VORIAH (9) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last time over 6f at Moruya, beaten half a length. Will trim down following recent racing. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing.
