Group 3 winner HEURISTIC (12) tackled a 5f race at Randwick Kensington when fresh from a lay-off last start and finished fourth, beaten 2 lengths. Will take a lot from that hitout so he looks sure to be in the finish. DISNECK (11) showed little early speed from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly to score a half a length win over 6f at Rosehill. Will prove tough to hold out again. ABLE WILLIE (9) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing seventh over 6½f at Rosehill most recently. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. Group 3 placegetter ANAGAIN (15) hasn't been far away lately, last time out finishing just 2.25 lengths back in fifth over 6½f at Rosehill. Won't find this assignment as tough. Has to be respected in this company.
