Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. NORTH COUNTRY (6) was prominent at the bend and finished third last start over 6f at this track (Synthetic), beaten 2.5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. ITS THIEVERY (2) returns from a lay-off of five months and did win when resuming last time in work over 1m1/4f at Pleasanton (Dirt). One of the genuine hopes in the race.
