BLACK MINTO (1) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 4. 5 lengths over 7f152yards at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. NEOCLASSICISM (4) settled towards the back of the field last start and made little impact in the straight when fifth, beaten 5. 5 lengths, over this journey at this track. Brandon Lerena gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. TARADALE (8) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when seventh over 6½f at Toowoomba after he travelled towards the rear of the field. Untried at this journey but strips fitter and is a key runner. EASTOWN (5) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track over the same trip. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
