Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. KATDEEL (5) won two runs ago when resuming but couldn't repeat the dose last time when fourth over 7f at Gold Coast. Among the leading players on his best figures. GREGARIOUS (9) is a distance specialist who did little and finished 15 lengths from the winner in 12th over 1m1/2f at Gold Coast last start after being in contention on the bend, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Lismore the run before. Has a good record at this course and distance, including three wins. Has the talent to take this out. BETTER YET (12) was safely held last time when she dropped out to finish ninth at Port Macquarie but down in the weights. Rates among the hopes on best form.
