CONEY ISLAND BABY (5) was out of the placings in tougher company in a then found the frame when third at Gatton latest after setting the tempo throughout. Tackles similar class here and rates highly on best. Expected to go close. TIGON PRINCESS (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Newcastle, beaten 6 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the turn. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is one of the main contenders. TENNESSEE WHISKEY (8) showed good early speed and led into the straight before fading to finish fourth, beaten 0.9 lengths, over 1m1/2f at Ipswich. Another bold showing is expected. LIP SMACKER (12) recorded her first win last start over 7f152yards at Gold Coast Poly, getting home by 2.75 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
