HIDDEN MELODY (3) is close to breaking through after three consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 5½f at Lismore after being in contention all the way. Drawn to enjoy a good run on the speed. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. I AM VOODOO (1) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 1.5 lengths at Gatton over 4f65yards after being in contention on the corner. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. KING'S GOLD (4) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has two placings from four appearances this campaign, finishing 0.8 lengths away in second most recently over 5f at Casino. Don't underestimate. TAPIS MAGIQUE (8) hit the frame two starts ago at Gatton but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 4 lengths over 6f at Gold Coast. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
