CHERBOURG (2) built on a nice third two starts back at Ipswich with a win over 1m1/2f at Ipswich nine days ago, getting home by a nose. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MRS GOSSIP (8) was out of the money when resuming but has since placed two on end and looks close to a win, the latest effort a third over 7f at Sunshine Coast. Has the right credentials. PAPAL MISS (5) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on May 30 finishing sixth and beaten 5 lengths over 1m3f at Ipswich. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. CAPITAL BOSS (1) did a great job to score by 1.75 lengths over this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Finds another suitable race and can figure in the finish.
