FRAPPES (7) turned in a modest performance when fifth last time out over 7¾f at Grafton, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the turn. That followed a win at Grafton at the previous outing. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. LIVING FREE (2) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 1.3 lengths over 6½f at Gold Coast. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins from six outings. Leading player again. ORIGINAL GLAZE (8) did little and finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m1/2f at Gold Coast last start, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Ipswich the run before. Has the class to put the recent run of form behind her. AVENUE OF STARS (1) has missed the frame at his last couple of runs, the latest when he drifted back and failed to come on, beaten 4.5 lengths into ninth at Gold Coast. Don't underestimate in this much easier assignment.
