BARASSI (16) is well placed in this grade after placing in city grade at Eagle Farm over 5f. Fitter for a trial win at Gold Coast. Runs fairly well when fresh. Has the speed to overcome the draw. Will prove tough to beat. GIVE GIGGLES (8) is a handy type who resumes after a break of seven months. At her last appearance she finished 11th over 6f in the G3 Mystic Journey Stakes at Hobart, beaten 6 lengths. Fitter for a recent trial win. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Best form puts her right in this. RALPHIE (2) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 6f at Doomben. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SIMBU (6) was sent out at 20/1 last time but ran above expectations and won over 5½f at Doomben. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Don't underestimate.
