BETTER STRINGS (17) finished fourth last time out over 7f152yards at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Race sets up well for her. YOU AND I (7) switches to synthetic for the first time. Finished 8 lengths back in fifth on turf over 1m1f at Hawkesbury most recently. Worth following up. STEP ON FIRE (6) performed above expectations last time over 1m at Sunshine Coast, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in fourth after starting at huge odds. Top-three aspirations. PRIMARY WITNESS (5) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but disappointed last time when out of the placings at Kilcoy over 7½f after he had settled well back. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves another chance.
