LADY PARVATI (6) is yet to break through after 12 starts but not far off a win. Placed in a then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 1m1 1/2f at Toowoomba. The blinkers go on. Terrific chance to return to form. AUTUMN SONG (2) is yet to break through in 12 runs. Finished fifth at his last appearance over 1m1f at Gold Coast on September 7. This offers him a great chance of breaking through. JOHN'S ROAD (4) is finding the breakthrough elusive, beaten 5.5 lengths into eighth at his latest appearance over 7½f at Warwick. Meets a tougher line-up this time but should be involved in the finish. SMELTER (3) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for fourth over 1m3f at Ipswich. Sure to be winding up late.
