MORGANITE (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Ipswich, beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth after being prominent at the turn. Has the ability to put the recent run of form behind her. MACONDA (7) looked good at her only appearance 12 weeks ago over 5f at Sunshine Coast, finishing third and beaten 3 lengths. Placed in a recent trial. Will be better for that race experience and is a leading contender. DESERT COUGAR (17) started at 11/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 9 lengths at Murwillumbah over 6f. Has the talent to figure prominently. BLIND DESIRE (14) finished third last start over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 7 lengths. Fitter for that run. Suitably placed so anticipating another strong effort.
