MATSUYAMA (18) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 19 lengths when 12th over 1m1/2f at Ipswich two-and-a-half weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can feature in the finish. OUTWITTED (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 5.5 lengths. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. GENETIC FREAK (1) opened this prep with a win two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when seventh over 6¾f at Doomben, beaten 2 lengths. Won't find this as tough so he is a leading player. GREGARIOUS (8) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 7f152yards at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Another forward showing is anticipated.
