DOMINANCE (3) fought on for third last start over 5¼f at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Should race just off the speed despite the wide draw. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ROMI (7) placed two starts ago at Grafton but could only manage tenth last time, beaten 8 lengths, over 5f on turf at Ballina. First try on synthetic. Blinkers are added in a positive move by the stable. QICKWIT (4) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Gatton, beaten 10 lengths into fifth. No surprise to see him in contention.
