ON MERIT (4) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 5¼f at this track last start, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Can go right on with the job now. DEEP MYSTIQUE (7) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Sunshine Coast Poly, beaten 2.25 lengths into seventh. Nicely placed to take this out. GHOST HUNTER (2) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh, beaten 6 lengths, over 5½f at Ipswich. BULSARA (3) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a head over 5f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role again.
