READY TO TORQUE (8) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 1.2 lengths at Sunshine Coast Poly over 5f after being in contention on the turn. Nicely placed to make amends. WHISKEY DANCER (12) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win over 6f at this track three weeks ago, getting home by a long neck. Looks well placed so expect another big run. LENNIC (6) on the synthetic for the first time. On her return from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Kicked off the last campaign with a third at Doomben over 5½f. Well placed to make an impact straight away. PRICE COST (11) had been in great form winning two on end before finishing third last start over 7f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Drops back in journey this time.
