MAHSAY (9) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.3 lengths adrift in second over 7f32yards at this track when resuming after a break. Can go on with it. LATE ARRIVAL (3) finished second, beaten 4 lengths, over 6f155yards at this track on debut 11 weeks ago and has been kept under wraps since. Has a low draw and can feature again. MISS PEPEHA (11) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 3.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside after being prominent at the turn. Won't find this as tough so she is a major player. TOREADOR (14) is a three-start maiden who missed the placings when resuming but has since consolidated with two straight placings, the latest over 7f at Echuca. Tackling tougher opposition but is among the better hopes.
