BAY OF PORTLAND (4) was below his best last time when ninth over 5½f at Morphettville, beaten 5.5 lengths. Has the ability to put the recent run behind him. DERBY DOWNS (3) missed the placings when resuming recently but was not too far from the winner when fifth over 6¼f at Morphettville Parks. Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Won't find this assignment as tough. Should be in the finish. MADAM JEANETTE (11) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 5½f at Naracoorte last start, scoring by a neck. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Re-unites with Anna Jordsjo who was on board last start. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up. PERCIDIAN (1) is back from a lay-off of five months. Won on debut at the only appearance last prep, taking out a 5½f contest at this track by 0.6 lengths. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Has solid credentials.
