BELYAEV (8) is a three-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Annabel Neasham barn. Hasn't raced since finishing fourth at Scone five months ago. Ran fourth in a trial over 4f43yards at Doomben and looks well placed. Can kick off with a win. RUSTIC TZAR (4) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Doomben, beaten 2.25 lengths into fifth. Faces an easier assignment so he is likely to play a big role. STRAPPEROO (7) stepped out for his debut over 6f at Kilmore back on November 26 and finished seventh, beaten 8 lengths. Blinkers come off expected to run well. FIELD OF MARS (19) finished 3 lengths away in fourth at his last appearance over 5f at Toowoomba on April 27. Likely to be thereabouts.
