STAND BY TIME (9) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 6f at this track (Dirt), finishing second and beaten half a length after being in the firing line on the turn. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. OCEAN BIRD (6) started this campaign with a win two runs ago. Less impressive last time out when eighth over 6f at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. JILL'S LEMON DROP (2) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 4 lengths into seventh over 6f at this track. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. CHARMING KAT (7) improved sharply last time out to score by half a length over 6f at this track (Dirt) three weeks ago. Likely to be there at the finish again.
