MOON CONNECTION (5) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at this track (Dirt) with success as public elect over 6f at this track (Dirt) nine days ago, getting home by 3.5 lengths. Jose A Medina scored on him last time and retains the ride. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. VERRAZANO FIRST (4) has put together a couple of wins at this course, the latest on March 23 over 6f when he got home by 1.75 lengths. Winning rider Kevin Roman retains the mount. Looks well placed so expect another big run. TREASURY (3) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by 0.3 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt). Fitter for that last hitout and is among the leading chances. FAYETTE WARRIOR (1) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth over 6f at this track. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
