STAR PATROL (4) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third in the G2 Gilgai Stakes at this track over 6f after being prominent from the outset. Won't find this as tough so he is likely to play a big role. HEDGED (10) was only a nose from the winner in second last time out in a small field over 6f at Cranbourne at the first run of the campaign.
