NADAL (9) rallied in the concluding stages to score by 1.75 lengths at the most recent appearance over 5½f at Caulfield at the second run this prep. Finds the right race to make it two on the bounce. BARBER (6) built on a nice third two starts back at Moonee Valley with success over 6f at Geelong two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. REY MAGNERIO (4) did a good job last start to finish second in the G3 Rising Fast (Chatham) Stakes at this track over 6f, beaten a nose. Cherry-ripe now. Jye Mcneil who has four wins when partnering stays on. Has winning claims on best figures. MOBY DICK (14) started at 1/1 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 2 lengths, at Geelong over 6f. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will be doing his best work late.
