Group 2 winner ARKANSAW KID (1) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a nose over 6f in the G2 Bobbie Lewis Quality at this track. That continued the very strong form this campaign, with two wins from three runs. Top chance again. RIGHT TO PARTY (14) Group 3 winner. Was well in commission last time but ran below expectations when fourth and beaten 2 lengths over 6f in the G2 Bobbie Lewis Quality at this track. Jye Mcneil who has three wins when partnering stays on. Should be hard to stop. Group 3 winner SGHIRRIPA (2) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.5 lengths adrift in third over 5½f at Morphettville when coming back from a lay-off. Takes on tougher opposition this time but still one of the main contenders. JOHNNY ROCKER (12) Group 1 placegetter. Missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 5 lengths away in tenth over 6f at Moonee Valley. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
