SHAIME (13) scored in a at Mornington but was below her best last time when seventh over 5f at Sandown-Hillside. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. Group 3 winner HEURISTIC (5) was in the firing line on the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. Group 3 placegetter KIKO (8) built on a nice second two starts back at Sandown-Hillside with a win over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on current form she is one of the chief contenders. BEWS (2) hasn't been far away lately, beaten a nose at his most recent outing when second over 6f at Morphettville. Going well and it would be dangerous to leave him out.
