OUR EMPRESS ZOE (6) is a distance specialist who bounced back last start and scored by one length after being in the firing line on the turn over 1m at Pakenham Synthetic. Going up a level this time but she is good enough to play a major role. BINDING (1) stepped up in trip to 1m1/2f last time at Sandown-Hillside and ran below her best, finishing 6 lengths away in ninth. Better suited at this shorter trip so looks sure to feature. CINDY FALLS (2) had been thereabouts before a deserved success over 7f in the Leilani Series Final at this track, scoring by a head. Narrow win and up in the weights but can go on with it. FEARLESS WRITER (5) ran a better race last start, finishing 1.1 lengths away in fifth over 7f at this track. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
