PENTANGELI (8) finished second, beaten 2 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at this track (Dirt) after he was in the firing line on the bend. Ready to go one better. AELFGAR (5) was in the firing line on the turn and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. SHARP PLAY BOY (9) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when second, beaten 2.25 lengths, at this track (Dirt) over 5½f. Proving a good combination with Jacqueline A Davis with four straight placings. Fitter and poses a big threat. JAKE'S ORCHARD (2) is back after a break of 11 months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fifth over 6f at Saratoga (Dirt). Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
