NICKELFORCE (2) jumped well to make a successful chasing debut at Southwell last-time-out. A 7lb rise in the weights might not be enough to prevent the repeat and looks set for further progress. PEARLY ISLAND (1) is trained by Lucy Wadham and won tackling fences last season. Respect racing off the same rating as when second at Huntingdon in April. AWESOME FOURSOME (6) may provide a bold bid switching to fences for a stable in fine form. Previous course and distance winner corer KANKIN (4) cannot be ruled out revisiting this venue after a break.
