Sure to prove very tough to beat. GRAND OASIS (3) finished tenth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7f at Greyville All Weather, beaten 3 lengths. Tackling a more suitable race so he is one of the main contenders. SMART VIEW (9) finished third last time over 6½f at this track when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 5.5 lengths. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Likely improver with bright prospects. CHAMPONELLE (4) is finding the breakthrough elusive, beaten 6 lengths into ninth at his latest appearance over 1m at Durbanville. Has the speed to overcome the draw. Deserves respect on best figures.
