WALT WHITMAN (2) improved sharply on his ninth two starts back at Fairview with success over 1m3f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of another big run. THE INKOSANA (3) proved too strong two runs ago at this track. Less impressive last time out when tenth over 1m2f at Fairview, beaten 9 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. SLAINTE MHATH (4) turned things around last start and landed the prize by a nose as public elect over 1m1 1/2f at this track. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention. MALDANO (5) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing fifth and beaten 1.75 lengths. Should be in the mix in this suitable race.
