PASHTUNWALI (1) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fourth last time out over 6½f at this track. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Expecting a bold showing. COASTAL PATH (3) finds it hard to win with two victories from 27 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 6½f at this track, beaten a neck. Nicely placed to test this line-up. CHARLIE MALONE (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.75 lengths over 6½f at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. BENNELONG POINT (9) finished second last time over 6f at this track, beaten half a length. Must raise the bar but a big run is on the cards.
