FAIRY KNIGHT (1) hasn't raced since finishing 10 lengths away in 13th over 6f in the G2 Golden Horse Sprint at Scottsville on May 31. Goes very well when fresh with four wins from seven starts and can return in winning form. MERCANTOUR (2) saluted at this track two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when third over 7f at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this circuit. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is right in contention. CHAMPONELLE (6) has been kept fresh since he resumed last start and proved too strong, scoring by half a length over 7f at this track. Open to plenty of improvement and this looks well within his grasp. GOLDEN PAVILION (7) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by a nose over 5f at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and is among the better chances.
