SMART JOKER (9) produced a reasonable effort when second last start after being in the firing line on the bend over 6f at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot make amends. VIA DEL CORSO (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 6f at Hawthorne, beaten 10 lengths into sixth. Faces an easier assignment so he is one of the main contenders. STINGY (8) was always well out of his ground when 35 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1m1/4f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Hawthorne the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. SARAH'S BOY BLUE (2) was sent out at 20/1 last time but ran above expectations and won over 6f at this track (Dirt). Hard to fault winning form.
