MINNESOTA MOON (5) went forward last start over 6f at Hawthorne (Dirt) and held on well for second, beaten 0.8 lengths. Has the ability to take this out. AFTER MY BROTHER (1) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 8 lengths when fourth in a 5½f contest at this track four weeks ago. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is one of the main contenders. DRAMA CRITIC (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when seventh in a 1m1/4f contest at this track four weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. INSIDE THE CIRCLE (2) won at this track (Dirt) two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing sixth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Nicely placed to turn things around.
