GRAYHOP (4) is back from a lay-off of eight months. Closed last prep with a third, beaten one length, over 6f at this track. Will be hard to beat. WESLAN (5) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 9 lengths when seventh over 1m1/4f at Hawthorne two-and-a-half weeks ago. Faces an easier assignment so he is perfectly placed to score. SPAN (1) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when fourth, beaten 7 lengths, over 6f at this track (Dirt). Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. HE'S A FINE MAN (6) made progress last time out, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 6f at this track. No surprise to see him in the mix.
