Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will play a major role. DEER DISTRICT (1) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 11 lengths into ninth over 5½f at this track. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SCAT FREE (2) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 29 lengths at this track (Dirt) over 1m1/2f. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be underestimated.
