COURT JESTER (2) has been thereabouts lately without being able to break through, the latest effort a second at this track (Turf) over 1m. Has a good association with C J Mcmahon with a run of five top-three results. Should be hard to stop. CAUSEWAY BENNY (7) didn't do a bad job when second last start after being in contention on the bend over 1m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. That followed a win at Delta Downs the start prior. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. LE MONSTRE RAPIDE (1) missed the placings when resuming recently but was not too far from the winner when fourth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Usually performs well with that run under his belt. Can go on with it. POPPA MAGIC (6) was a most impressive maiden winner over 7½f at Delta Downs (Dirt) last time out, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Harder here but should be involved in the finish.
