CALICOCO (2) finished fifth over 1m1/2f at Evangeline Downs (Turf) at his most recent appearance on August 2. Comes here with definite claims. HOUSE BOURBON (5) gets a change of rider and has been freshened up since finishing ninth over 1m at Delta Downs (Dirt) last start. Forgive that latest effort. In the mix. PEPPER JACK (1) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race last time out over 1m at Remington Park (Turf), finishing second and beaten 0.8 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. DEER CROSSING (6) is back after a break of five months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1m at this track. Makes plenty of appeal.
