CUSTOM BOBBY'S (2) started at 6/1 last time on the back of a win at this track (Turf) two starts ago but was below his best, finishing seventh over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Steps up a level but he is up to the task. SON CARLOS (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Delta Downs, beaten 10 lengths into seventh. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to take this out. GUTZY (5) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 19 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 6f at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Nicely placed to play a major role. STARPORT (3) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 0.8 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt). Has his share of ability. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
