LOVELY SASSICAIA (2) did little and finished 14 lengths from the winner in sixth over 5½f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his when resuming fourth at Delta Downs the run before. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is set to turn things around. DEE'S LEGS (7) finished third last time out over 7f at Delta Downs (Dirt), making it three career minor placings. Has a good record at this distance with two top-three results from four starts. Settles back early but winds up late. Will be tough to hold out. GUMBALL (5) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6f at this track (Dirt) when third, beaten 5.5 lengths. Promising type with improvement to come so another top-three finish is on the cards. MATZOH BALL (9) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Delta Downs, beaten 16 lengths into sixth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
