GIANNIRUSSO (7) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing second and only half a length from the winner at the end of 1f80yards after being in the firing line on the bend. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. SASSY PINK CARTEL (4) produced a good effort last start when second over 1f at this track (Dirt) to make it five minor placings from five runs this preparation. Generally performs well here and has registered four minor placings. Sure to go well. LONESTAR RUNNER (2) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 1f at this track (Dirt) when she was handy all the way. Looks well placed so expect another big run. JESSA LOUISIANA (1) is returning from a spell of six-and-a-half months. Finished fourth at Louisiana Downs (Dirt) over 1f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Jose Carrizales.
