LILY ALLEZ (2) has scored at her last two starts, most recently by half a length over 5½f at Doomben. That continued the good form this campaign, with nine wins and five minor placings from 19 runs. Top chance again. CAPTAIN FOX (4) was never in contention when 4.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 5¼f at Rockhampton last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Rockhampton the run before. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. MR TANGLES (8) was below his best last time when 4 lengths from the winner in fourth over 5¼f at Rockhampton. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the main contenders. MAGICAL SLIPPER (6) built on a nice third two starts back at Cloncurry with a win over 6f at Roma five-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot score again.
