EVER A REBEL (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 9 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the bend. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. SOLDATNA (2) recorded a strong on-pace win here last time by one length over 6½f. Luis R Reyes who has two wins when partnering stays on. Expecting a bold showing. HICKORY WIND (5) started at 7/2 last time on the back of a win at this track (Dirt) two starts ago but was below his best, finishing fifth over 1m at this track (Dirt). Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. BLUES RAPPER (1) is building towards a win with placings at his last two runs, the latest effort a third over 1m at this track (Dirt) when beaten 4 lengths. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One of the better hopes.
