EAST SHORE (8) comes here off a break of eight months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m1/2f at Keeneland. Sure to make her presence felt. BIRDIE ROSE (5) hit the frame two starts ago at Churchill Downs but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 19 lengths over 6½f at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. WITS AND WAGERS (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1m1/2f at Churchill Downs, beaten 5.5 lengths. Has the ability to feature in the finish. LADAN (3) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1m1/2f at Churchill Downs (Dirt), finishing fourth and beaten 1.3 lengths. Best figures measure up. Set to run well again.
