Group 3 placegetter HAPPY IS A CHOICE (2) was well supported when resuming last time out over 6f at Churchill Downs (Dirt) and proved too strong, scoring by 2.25 lengths. Fitter for that last hitout and must be respected. CHAMPLIN (5) resumes after a break of nine weeks. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 6f at Fairgrounds. Has found the right race to kick off the campaign. SCOTLAND (7) made progress last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at Churchill Downs. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
