CORTAIN (3) settled well back last start and never threatened when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m at Swan Hill. Likely improver with strong prospects. BUDJIK BOY (2) accounted for a maiden field over 1m at this track last start, finishing 3.5 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Can go right on with the job now. DAY IN HEAVEN (6) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Cranbourne, beaten 5 lengths into sixth after being in contention on the bend. Has the class to put the recent run of form behind her. DISMOUNT (4) finished fifth, beaten 2.5 lengths, last time out over this course and distance after coming from an outside draw. Settles back early but winds up late. Top three prospects.
